@rvcbrice@cym27s Being the largest country also comes at the cost of being unable to defend all of it. Simply too much area for a finite amount of resources.
@Volke__ Would you say that the trophy or iron fist are better than the arena-m due to them being able to steer rws and interceptor drones? In other words, that the arena-M is the worst modern aps?
@kaskaide1 I hate how people say stuff like ”China likes to overstate and brag about their capabilities, meanwhile the u.s understates theirs etc etc”. Yet we know barely ANYTHING about any aircraft/vehicle/ship that the PLA fields.
We don’t even know the radars of 80% of PLA aircraft.
@Radion_Popalzai@_vardozz_ They have access to western spec optics and also starlink which improves the video feed massively because they have direct internet. Russian geran-4’s do not have starlink and as such rely on the mesh grid type to relay the signal. That, of course, has limitations over Ukraine.
@Arvin_Gao_@kaskaide1 That’s moving the goalposts. “No official source proves it” ≠ “China doesn’t have GaN radar.” The open-source evidence establishes Chinese GaN radar development; you’re demanding a level of public disclosure that military systems routinely don’t provide.
@Arvin_Gao_@kaskaide1 Ugreen is chinese, Dji is chinese. You are asking for governmental sources and trying to prove something from governmental sources is trying to prove a negative, it is not possible because the providers of such tech to the military are state-owned unlike something like raytheon

But yeah, you're right, they cant spare semiconductors for their military right? Beyond idiotic.
