This year Banner is celebrating 40 years of community service to the east Baltimore community!
Our mission is to empower east Baltimore communities with life-enriching programs for youth and older adults.

We enjoyed being part of the process and are looking forward to the "cooling" recommendations for parts of East Baltimore.

Baltimore partnered with @EPA in a two-day planning workshop to plan improvements in air quality and other enhancements in the East Baltimore neighborhood by creating "Cool Corridors" shaded areas with reclaimed vacant lots, in areas where pedestrians walk.

Through its Building Blocks program, EPA's Office of Community Revitalization supports state and local partners with capacity building and planning assistance to help them revitalize local economies and improve environmental and health outcomes.
