On 17 September 2026, we proudly celebrate the 77th Raising Day of the Indian Defence Service of Engineers (IDSE) and extend our warmest greetings to its officers, veterans and personnel.
Through the planning, development and maintenance of critical military infrastructure, IDSE officers make an invaluable contribution to strengthening India’s defence preparedness and supporting the operational requirements of the Indian Armed Forces.
From strategic infrastructure in challenging terrains to modern facilities that sustain military operations, their engineering expertise remains an essential pillar of national defence.
Their commitment to engineering excellence, innovation, resilience and timely execution ensures that our soldiers, sailors and air warriors have the infrastructure required to remain mission-ready.
