As a part of the Government’s 100-day programme, Government e Marketplace has introduced a significant reduction in the transaction charges levied on Sellers / Service Providers on the portal!

This strategic step has been rolled out on 9th August, 2024 and is likely to greatly benefit the MSEs who are the backbone of the seller base of GeM.

Here’s what you need to know:

1️⃣ Zero transaction charges for all order valued up to ₹10 lakh (earlier limit was ₹5 lakh)
2️��� 0.30% of order value as transaction charges for all orders valued above ₹10 lakh up to ₹10 crore (reduced from 0.45% of order value)
3️⃣ Transaction charges capped at maximum ₹3 lakh for all orders valued above ₹10 crore (earlier capping was at ₹72.5 lakh)

This transformative change is envisioned to enhance ease of doing business on the platform, empowering small-scale sellers and service providers to effortlessly participate and secure government tenders.
