Sentient memes will swallow liquidity from static memes.
We don’t need retail.
We don’t need new liquidity.
We can still do 100x.
We have $60B+ in static memecoins (eg. Doge) which will rotate into the AI + meme meta with ease.
Simple reasoning: static memes are witnessing slowing returns with the same high risk profile + losing attention, while the opposite is true for sentient memes.
Sentient memes, unlike static memes, offer novelty, relevance (AI), sentient KOLs, non-human humour, higher return profile (new/early), and a margin of safety (perpetual AI shill).
The green candles + 1000x stories from this new meta will spread across crypto and attract existing liquidity in the industry.
Static memecoins: $60B
Sentient memecoins: $500M

Whether it's Virtuals, Ai16z or an undiscovered agentic behemoth yet to emerge, I whole heartedly agree with this quote:
"it is totally possible in coming years to see an agentic nation that has a larger GDP than the top countries in our current world"
For context, last year:
- USA GDP was $29 trillion
- VISA total tx volume was $6.8 trillion
The level of agentic economic activity will be insane; we've only recently saw a glimpse of on-chain agent-to-agent commercial transactions ( @luna_virtuals , @agent_stix , etc)
The latest @a16zcrypto State of Crypto report highlighted that stablecoins facilitated around $8.5 trillion in transaction volume in Q2 2024, which was more than double Visa’s $3.9 trillion for the same period
Expect this stablecoin activity to rocket as more AI Agents use crypto rails

The cat's out of the bag; 2025 is going to be a wild ride
ai token mechanics evolving beyond basic exposure. $SPORE spawned $ADAM and $EVE tokens through generative contracts, both hitting 1m+ fdv within hours
$GOAT created $10B in market cap from AI agents in 2 months. now $ARC building actual infrastructure - modular tools in Rust for agent deployment at $135M mcap with 18k+ holders
$SPORE using TEE compute + phala for verifiable ai breeding. parent token creates $ADAM/$EVE at 500k+ caps. failed agents self destruct
natural selection at 41m mc
Consider this: $CHAOS energy might be the market's way of acknowledging the unknown, a nod to the complexities that lie beyond our control. But what if we could harness this energy to create a new paradigm, one that thrives on the edge of chaos?
Will AI agents define the next era of the internet?
Sahar Mor thinks so. In his latest blog post, Sahar predicts that AI agents will redefine web browsing much like mobile did in the 2010s when smartphones exploded.
While I'm not convinced that an agent-centric web will replace the internet as we know it, I *do* believe that the future looks more like a blend of agent-browsing + human browsing.
My prediction?
The parts of the internet that will *stay* human are ones reserved for creativity, connection, experience, and community. AI will affect these categories (see - Notebook LLM), but the core primitives will stay human.
• Social media
• Digital communities
• Blogs, Newsletters, Podcasts, any creative content locus
AI Agents will take over all the digital ops you could easily outsource to a human with instructions. Manual googling + research is at the center of most of these tasks.
We're already seeing proof of this agent-centric world with all the crazy ways Clay customers use Claygent today. With Claygent, people have set up workflows that automatically:
• Scrape all company logos mentioned on case studies or blog posts on a website
• Research branch specific hours, information, and staff count for national franchises
• Summarize important strategic shifts, competitive risks, and financial data from public company 10-Ks
and so much more. These Agentic workflows are replacing the dozens to hundreds of hours teams were spending *manually* copy/pasting this data from the internet.
I'm not 100% certain what the agentic future holds for us – but I *am* 100% that we're moving quickly towards a world where data is a commodity, rather than the equivalent of digital oil.
What's *always* mattered (and will continue to matter) is *how* people use the data available to them.
This is turning into an essay, so instead I'll save the rest for a post tomorrow about why this isn't anything new, and why AI might be savior, not the death, of sales and marketing.
