Stop glamorizing “the grind” and start glamorizing getting 7+ hours of sleep at night, having healthy relationships, feeling safe at work, taking sick days, being paid a living wage, working hard when you’re at work, boundaries, and self-caring your way to success.
While today’s terrible display of terror and meanness shakes us, let’s remember: @ossoff, Jewish son of an immigrant & @ReverendWarnock, first Black Senator from Georgia, will join a Catholic POTUS & the first woman, Black + Indian VP in our nation’s capital. God bless America.
Thinking of the dozens of women I know personally who were arrested and handcuffed for sitting outside senate offices in protest during the Kavanaugh hearings
Reflecting on the domestic terrorist attack at the Capitol. In particular how the Black community must feel watching the police respond without violence. It’s unsurprising and heartbreaking. I am so damn MAD. There is so much work to be done.

I am honored and ready to serve.

She’d lead the agency responsible for not only managing public lands, but honoring treaties with the Indigenous people those lands were taken from.
