This is too funny. Trump rebuilt the skyline? When was that? During the 40 year period when he built a handful of condos? Trump built two meaningful buildings. The people who lived in the Riverside South project took his name off the buildings.
And they are awful buildings.

Just to clarify, I did not say his buildings were not quality. The ones I did had the best architects, engineers and contractors. They are good strong buildings. What I did say was that the finishes in the apartment, in the Plaza rooms, etc. were, crap.

I agree with this comment. The boys blamed their accountants and lawyers. It was sort of accepting responsibility to take that off Trump. When Trump said, "I hope so" about whether the numbers were correct, he was casting blame on the sons, if they weren't. A very clever setup
