This beautiful young woman is Vicki Williams, a history teacher from Pembrokeshire, Wales.
On February 5, a 15 year old student walked into her empty classroom and asked her to check his homework.
He then closed the door.
He walked up to her, pulled a knife out of his bag and stabbed her in the head. This was a sustained attack that only stopped when another teacher intervened.
Vicki was rushed to hospital and thankfully survived.
The boy was prosecuted and in court said that Vicki had tried to grab the knife from his bag and he “accidentally assaulted her”.
The prosecution said that he had sought out a lone teacher who he could attack.
Yesterday, he boy was found not guilty attempted murder. He was found guilty of wounding with intent.
He will be sentenced on September 3 but will probably get a few months at a juvenile facility. I doubt that this will change his behaviour.
🗣️ Marc Cucurella: The World Cup final completely changed my opinion of Leo Messi.
From my perspective, he looked frustrated and desperate to win. After I simply asked him, as captain, to calm his teammates because I felt they were becoming too aggressive, I believe he portrayed our exchange to the referee as something it wasn’t. I never made any racist remark, and the whole incident left me deeply disappointed.
That moment made me question the fairness of what happened. To me, honesty and integrity matter just as much as winning. If I feel someone has misrepresented my words, it’s difficult for me to trust or respect them in the same way again.
Cristiano Ronaldo has been my idol since childhood, and my respect for him has never changed. I admire his dedication, discipline, and mentality. In my opinion, he has built his legacy through hard work, perseverance, and merit. That’s why he will always be my greatest football inspiration.
🚨🗣 Egypt's Coach Hossam Hassan after Argentina lost the world cup final:
"If you notice, they tried their best to rob Spain but it didn't just work, they canceled Nico Williams goals for a foul they wouldn't have canceled if it was Argentina"
"I am very happy Spain won because they were the better team and they won over corruption. Football won today"
This is so disgusting.
Spain is having an official victory photo taken. Trump runs in so that he can be in the photo. The president of FIFA runs over to try and pull him away, but he fails.
This is after Trump has verbally attacked the nation of Spain nonstop for the last two months.
What a petty child.
This is utterly bonkers. George Cottrell was not arrested for "tax avoidance" stuff as @Nigel_Farage says below, he was arrested because he offered money laundering services (via crypto) to drug traffickers - but the drug traffickers were actually US agents.
And as pointed by @nw_nicholas he denies getting money from Cottrell since getting elected but his own register of interests contradicts that.
I have never said this before because I despise the man, but I remember Andrew Tate from London’s nightlife. This photo reminded me. I ruled over those scenes, north, south, east, central and west, going to anything happening to find interesting people to bring to my own clubs. Tate was a regular on the tackier end of it all. He would turn up topless, sit in the corner and say hi, never once having a problem with someone like me. Had no problem with the Trans girlies and the gays. When he became famous for his far right clickbait antics, my first thought was that this was the guy who used to nod at me kindly across a club. There are photographs of him from those nights and I suspect some more of them will surface one day. Back then nobody had problems with anyone however the club scene was misogynistic and a playground for sex pests, I fended off many of them over the years for both myself and my friends. We all said hi and got on with the night… it was very ego driven, a hierarchy of who had the best tables and usually that was me. I still wonder what happened to him. Maybe he believed this stuff all along. Maybe years of hedonism curdled into something else. My own suspicion is that he realised he could clickbait the hell out of young men and old fools into paying him or being paid well by ads, then sold himself to himself and started believing the hype..
I’m glad the ba ll sac has been arrested and will face the charges. It’s so much worse than I thought.
Argentina have repeatedly shown us everything football shouldn’t be.
Today France and England showed us what it should be.
No hate between players, no filthy fouls and trying to actually harm each other, no political statements, no favouritism, no disgusting behaviour from fans just the beautiful game.
Rumours that the World Cup is fixed and run by gangsters are "ridiculous"
Now, meet Slavko Vincic, hes the Slovenian referee who'll be in charge of todays World Cup final,
He was also arrested six years ago in a brothel where cocaine, guns, and 20,000 euros were also found.
