@gauravsabnis Most practical. We do something similar too. We grow a good chunk of our own veggies and got an extra chest freezer just to store the overflow. Makes ordering harder to justify.
@contxt_matters@gauravsabnis Tried scuba diving years ago and couldnโt get beyond a few metres because of the increasing pressure in my ears. Between controlling your breathing, remembering procedures, managing ascent and descent, thereโs a lot going on. Not easy. Modi couldn't even dream of pulling it off.
@gauravsabnis Absolutely. Iโve noticed this as well during my trips to India. People are genuinely delighted and often go out of their way when you simply say โthank you.โ
Iโve figured out Indiaโs number one problem: false pride.
When a society becomes more interested in defending its image than fixing its problems, progress stops. Pride without self-reflection is not strength-itโs denial.
@PunsterX Bro, at this point you should know these โnational dutiesโ are always a subscription plan for peasants like us. The VIP package comes with cavalcades, flights, roadshows, and air shows included.
@abhijitkadle Commercial grow rooms run ACs 24/7 for months, so the AC should last. The real question is what is the contingency if it dies at 2am. One humidity spike can wreck weeks of work.
@abhijitkadle Agreed. It is anyway widely consumed across India. Legalization will curb illegal markets while creating opportunities in agriculture, tourism, and medicinal use. Surprising how medical cannabis hasnโt taken off while other forms of "natural" quackery enjoy widespread popularity.
Heard this beautiful line from Toni Morrison in the context of racism "If you can only be tall because someone is down on their knees, you have a serious problem".
