This is the current situation of a pregnant woman living in Kenya...

She has paid for NHIF. It's time to hive birth. Private Hospitals aren't taking NHIF coz of failed remittance of payments. She decides okay public hospitals.

Linda Mama has been "suspended" (let's call it as it is, dissolved) and no doctors in the hospital due to the ongoing strike against poor working conditions and unfair salary cut)

What will the mother do? End up delivering home. This increases chances of mortality for her and her child(ren).

This is the worst regime in terms of healthcare management this country has ever seen
