The Ugandan participants arrived in Germany. After a few bureaucratic hurdles, our partners @SchorlemerS welcomed them in Berlin and gave them the last organizational instructions. All participants will travel to their host farms today. #IYFEP

My HONEST ADVICE to anyone seeking to grow a great farming business

1. Think long term, not short term. This doesn't mean starting big. Start small, but with the end in mind.
This might mean moving further out where you can get land for future expansion, etc
2. Build a brand. This takes long but is worth it. It ensures that sales become easier and you sell at higher prices in the future.
3. Do not lose focus. You'll get lots of distractions but focus on the goal. When you do, it will direct your actions. Don't just swing along with the trending thing.
4. You'll certainly lose friends, because, most people are just not focused. That's life. Move on and work towards your goals.

We successfully flagged off our #IYFEP cohort 9 participants to Germany 🇩🇪.
Over the next 3 months, they will explore the German culture, and share their own cultural experiences with their hosts.
We wish them a life-changing internship experience and can't wait to see the impact they'll make.
