It is profoundly paradoxical that within the field of science, where the goal is to uncover universal truths that transcend our individual subjectivities, insults and dehumanization are so frequently used to invalidate the messenger.

It is a troubling symptom of our public discourse that clarity, politeness, and rigor are met with suspicion, to the point where someone is accused of being a "bot" simply for being articulate.

We seem to have reached a moment where courtesy and precision are interpreted as artificial, as if true humanity can only be proven through aggression, noise, or a lack of method.

It is a shallow and limiting mindset to suggest that to be "real," or to be a woman, one must conform to stereotypes of ignorance or unbridled emotionality.

Gender-based insults and the dismissal of another’s intellectual capacity are nothing more than defense mechanisms for those who feel intimidated by knowledge they cannot replicate.

Ultimately, resorting to personal grievance is the last refuge of those who have run out of arguments; it is an attempt to restore an imaginary hierarchy to avoid feeling diminished by the rigor of their interlocutor.

Defending an idea through offense is, in reality, an admission of intellectual defeat. If a theory is incorrect, science provides the tools to prove it; if a presentation is flawed, logic allows us to refine it.

But an insult builds nothing, it only seeks to silence. It is utterly exhausting that many are still required to validate their presence in intellectual spaces based on their identity, yet maintaining integrity and excellence is, in itself, a necessary act of resistance.

One does not need to descend into conflict to appear more human; on the contrary, the ability to uphold analysis in the face of irrationality demonstrates a profound understanding not only of the subject matter, but of the ethics required to share it.

Knowledge should always be a bridge, never a battlefield where identity is the target.

True wisdom doesn’t come from feeling superior; it comes from knowing your own limits. The ignorant are the ones who brag about certainty, clinging to their truths as if the world had to fit inside their narrow vision. The wise, on the other hand, doubt. They question. They understand that no matter how much they learn, there will always be something they don’t know.

Arrogance feeds the illusion of knowing everything; intelligence leans toward humility. Only someone who accepts their imperfections can keep growing. Only someone who admits they’re wrong is ready to learn something new.

The difference between the fool and the wise isn’t in how much they know, but in how aware they are of themselves. The fool thinks he’s already arrived. The wise one knows the path never really ends.
