I've also created a post that links to my cross-curricular resource pack for Granddad's Camper by Harry Woodgate π³οΈβπ

Oh look! It's me! ππ
Volunteering here whilst I was at @brookes_edu was such a highlight - an incredible place for kids & educators alike. I helped with museum events and even ran a bookclub in schools. Was great exp. for my primary ed degree and now I'm a school librarian!
It's #StudentVolunteerWeek and we're celebrating our amazing student volunteers!π₯°
If you'd like to learn new skills and help us make a difference by volunteering at our most unusual museum, we'd love to hear from you! Find out more here: https://t.co/07qooUDLEY
β¨To all the bookish people!β¨
I am looking for book related tote bags or similar for prizes in our school library. If anyone has any promotional bags for mg/ya books, or generally bookish items either to donate or sell, let me know! My students can't get enough of them ππποΈ
This little orange book baby came today and they look so good together! Soulmates and Other Ways to Die, Out 14th March with @chickenhsebooks!

@Melliver I'm so impressed with the spot! πππ I absolutely loved it - so close up there to my top 10 picks. I actually felt bad about not quite having space for it, so I've put it on my Mr Bramley's Recs shelf in the Library to give it the much deserved love! Already been borrowed 3x π₯³
End of 2023 means time for a reading wrap up π₯³ here's a quick thread of images I made for my school library's insta page using my @thestorygraph stats!
New year, new @AdrienPrize shortlist!! I hope people see this, despite my refusal to pay his nibs for a verified account. trust it's really me, telling you which incredible books with disabled main characters have made the 2024 shortlist.
wow, this year was hard. so many greats!
I'm so thrilled to reveal this fantastic cover of SISTER SPIRITπ₯³ π₯°

Love the cover so muchβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ, thanks to amazing @thecamru@_ZephyrBooks
@EsmeSymesSmith @theorah@mollyhbooth@kellyyanghk@a_reflective@heyjasonjune @ldlapinski @caitmayart @tanyabyrne Thank /you/ for your absolutely incredible story π a classic high fantasy with genuinely interesting worldbuilding AND nonbinary rep!?!? I mean come on! Can't wait to get my hands on Dragon's Roost!
@a_reflective@theorah@mollyhbooth @EsmeSymesSmith @kellyyanghk@heyjasonjune @ldlapinski @caitmayart @tanyabyrne Fight Back is an incredible book! It inspired me so much, I used it in my interview for the very job I made these images at. Not only did I love your story, but it also gave me the confidence to challenge the norm and be my authentic, rebellious self at the interview π
@theorah Ah! What a compliment! ππ» You were an easy pick for my top 10, even after reading so many great books π I didn't put them in any specific order, but yours was definitely one of the first I included before having to start battling books against each other for the spaces left π
Finally - my book:page summary, and my goals for 2024.
I need to get my hands on the second Sir Callie book, and dystopia might be one of my new fav genres π
Would love to hear some other people's goals too! Happy New Year all π
I read all 5 Heartstoppers in 2023 (5 didn't quite make it to storygraph in time for this wrap up) so @AliceOseman was my top read author, closely followed by @ldlapinski because I reread Jamie for my dissertation, and then devoured Step-Father Christmas too! 4β avg... Not bad!
Been a minute since I posted, but I think letting you all know I just wept in a coffee shop finishing a hot choc & The Boy Who Steals Houses by @PaperFury is the perfect way to make a comeback π₯Ί brutally beautiful
Delighted to be at the celebration of the #LibrariesforPrimaries campaign. @clpe1 we are fully invested in the Power of Reading to transform childrenβs learning and lives. If every primary school had a library, this could make an incredible difference: https://t.co/UsD0eaBSWC
