If I was launching my brand today here's the playbook I'd use on a minimal bootstrapped budget.
It's made to create moments of audience engagement while creating long-lasting relationships to drive and optimize value and conversions (all that really matters).
This is my perspective and strategy I would do on a tight budget, but no means is it the best or should be taken word for word. Putting a plan in place for 3-6 months and seeing where the sticky points with the customer are will drive the best results.
Need to start building traffic and trust first and foremost. Get people in the funnel and engaged with the brand.
· Website optimization — should aim to hit at least 3% conversion rate
· Leverage existing customers - reengage them
· Consistent social posting strategy — 5x weekly — leading with education and value
· Build community - giveaways with other brands
· Influencer relations - product seeding for UGC
· Only focus on free and/or affiliate right now. Reach out to 100-500 per month.
· Email & sms implementation — flows and 2x weekly campaigns
· Email & sms list growth – on-site capture form
· Google PMax shopping and retargeting $500/month.
· Meta prospecting & retargeting - $30-60/day to start. Find winners and scale. (Advantage+)
· PR - linkby $5000 linkby/month - this will drive top funnel awareness and traffic. Dial in your pitch and get super selective with the publishers.
· Generate on-site reviews — create an incentive
· Amazon - get a paid strategy in place and spend responsibly.
· Subscriptions build out - @SkioHQ or https://t.co/P5f6PZvbYg
* First goal is to get to $30k/month within 3 months.

@softboywin That refund isn’t coming from Amazon my people, it’s coming from the brand who sells on Amazon. Amazon don’t give af because it’s not their money nor their product…

I gained 10 lbs this year. Not from bad habits (and beer) just from being too busy building our companies and chasing the kids around to pay attention to what I was eating.
I tried every food app out there. Always quit within a few days.
Too complicated. Too much manual entry. Not for me.
So I built my own.
It's called Nourish. Open the app. Set your goals. Scan your food. Track your results.

Nine years of building something I truly believe in. Seeing Hair Clay become the #1 hair styling product at @erewhon is one of those full-circle moments I won’t forget.
While everyone else was adding more, we built Hair Clay with only 4 total ingredients.
