@openargs Oh goodness. Was really hoping for some introspection and empathy from a host I looked up to since OA154. The tone deafness here just makes me so sad.
@the_candourist I know you have a global audience (long time follower here since your first around the world trip for example :)), but I’m pretty sure this is not the case in the US. Disclaimer: I’m not a lawyer, just a software engineer knowledgeable of security and privacy, and a pilot
@the_candourist The PIA gives the illusion of privacy, but I don’t think public figures get much value out of it because that illusion is trivially overcome with publicly available information.
@the_candourist I dispute the “not publicly available” part. Jack’s heuristics to match the code (which changes monthly and is transmitted unencrypted) to an aircraft/human aren’t complicated and don’t rely on secret knowledge. Absolute privacy can’t be achieved without a change to the protocol.
In "What It’s Like for a Deaf Person at a Captioned #VR Presentation," I shared my @AltspaceVR experience while attending @techthomas' @EducatorsVR presentation: https://t.co/3tL6TqKaUg The AltspaceVR team was fantastic in listening to my feedback.

@LowkoTV Hmm. Agree the debate was a complete shit show, but not sure the blame is even. My hot take is that one of those men has a shot at dragging the presidency out of the swamp. I'm voting for Biden.
