@ItsOtherwise When I was mentally running through the jobs most likely to have to make these hard choices I have to be honest that archeologists did not even begin to make the list

@openargs I manage a forum of 5,000 American archaeologists. There is extreme angst about what this admin means for our jobs. Deregulation will likely lead to more work on federal lands, but ending NAGPRA, the NHPA, and the Antiquities Act will change how ethical or long-term our work is.

11/ All of these scenarios are taken directly either from things Trump has already done or which he is promising to do and could very easily carry out within the next four years. There are far worse, if less likely, possibilities.
