@AndrewDessler Connecting to "rest of US" doesnt really help much. The other 2 interconnects are connected only through DC ties, as ERCOT is to the eastern interconnect with some valid reasons. As during Uri, when ERCOT is short our neighbors are likely short. It would help in a blackstart
