You honestly do not even need to be a Peter Obi supporter to see how politically ridiculous this statement is.
Anybody with a basic understanding of Nigerian politics knows that Kano is the absolute stronghold of Rabiu Kwankwaso and the Kwankwasiyya movement. To claim a crowd was 'borrowed' at Kwankwaso's own residence just shows a staggering lack of political awareness. Sowore needs to stop making everything about himself and actually study how grassroots politics works in the North.

They struggle because of:

Description - Orphanage
@aojjustaoj We all know that politics at the state level usually follows the governor’s structure and list except maybe in places like Rivers State, where it feels like a minister is more powerful than the governor.
So it would be that he did not have the support of his governor.
@damolasuccess@Kynsofficial The list can definitely be worked on better. My issue is: why are people more bothered about tribe?
So if everyone on that list was Yoruba but not actually from Lagos, would that suddenly make it okay?
Lagosians need to wise up. Anything meant for Lagos should primarily benefit
@Kynsofficial So you’re more bothered that the list does not properly represent Yoruba people and not Lagos people?
While the list can always be adjusted, he was elected to represent the people of Lagos, not just Yoruba people. We need to stop feeding the tribalism agenda.
@akintollgate Because the truth is, we all know where many people’s loyalties lie, and most times it is not necessarily with the people, but with the party and its leadership. So party reputation also matters.
We should be careful not to move backwards.
@akintollgate If we want to replace him, then we should properly compare him with other House of Representatives members representing different parts of Lagos. Check their work rate, their impact, and also consider the parties they belong to.
@Akinemmanuel19@akintollgate The problem is that some uneducated people wrongly act as if there are only three tribes in Nigeria, ignoring the country’s diversity.
@akintollgate@Cpthemonarch1 Unless you are debunking his claims about past Representatives, there is no need to start calling him irresponsible and all that.
@Don_BUKK@akintollgate The way you’re thinking is dangerous. If all the major ethnic groups in Nigeria start purging non-indigenous people, what do you think will happen to the country as a whole?
Let’s think before we type.
I'm seeing APC supporters saying, “A lawmaker representing Oshodi-Isolo II in Lagos sent 18 people to China; 15 of them are Igbos and only 3 Yorubas.”
I'm very sure the Igbo guys will come back from China and use what they learnt for the growth of Lagos and not Anambra
My question is: What are the remaining 23 legislative members from Lagos State doing?
Atleast someone is sending people to China 🤷🏿♂️
