Okay. The Holocaust didn’t start targeting Jews. It started with a man, a group who decided that certain people were lessers. They spewed dehumanizing rhetoric and violence. They placed all the blame for their hardships on those groups. Then they started rounding up the undesirables and putting them in… camps, on trains, disappearing them.

Anne Frank died as a result of her internment- she hid in an attic for 2 years. She was a frightened girl who dreaded the day she’d be found and taken to a (concentration) camp. Dozens of abducted immigrants have died in camps around the country- they’ve had food, medical care and basic necessities withheld. They are being murdered, assaulted and disappeared.

Tim Walz used the comparison to Anne Frank because it was apt comparison. There are little kids hiding in homes, scared that they and their families will be taken away by masked men who despise them, who see them are undesirable. We see them snatching these tiny little children off the street and using them as bait and then shipping them off to internment camps far away from everything they know.

For the US Holocaust Museum to repeatedly side with genocide and fascism is disgusting. This is a disgrace to the memory of Anne Frank and the Jews and others who died. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves.
