Tomorrow, Barking Riverside is hosting a sold out community Supper Club in partnership with Dinner Ladies, a female-led food collective that uses dining to drive social impact.
Through their “Sharing Plates” initiative, each ticket will directly fund a meal for a Londoner experiencing food insecurity.
Last month, a brilliant Halloween party was hosted by the Resident Events Panel, bringing local families together for music, games and an evening of Trick or Treating.

We were pleased to join @nlalondon last week for the unveiling of the extension to the NLA model, now featuring Barking Riverside.
Industry leaders, including our new Managing Director, Leigh Johnson, discussed how East London is shaping the capital’s future.
We’re proud to support the borough-wide launch of @voitechnology’s new e-bike scheme, delivered in partnership with @lbbdcouncil.
With up to 200 bikes available soon, including in Barking Riverside, this pilot supports safer, cleaner and more active ways to travel.
As we continue to deliver a well-connected neighbourhood - including the @TfL Overground, @thamesclippers, and new cycle infrastructure - partnerships like this are key to reducing car dependency.
Meliora was one of the most unique features of the Emerge East festival earlier this month - an inflatable light and sound installation by Atelier Sisu, located in Station Gardens.
Presented with @creativebandd in partnership with @barkingriver and supported by the Arts Council and #GlobalStreets, it hosted a free programme of resident events and workshops. Thank you to the 7,500 guests who visited.

This innovative model enables the community to vote on local priorities - with each vote translating into real funding for grassroots initiatives across the neighbourhood.
