@BrettKollmann Thank god you’re not running the 49ers...stack the defense, rely on shanahan to run the offense and score points...got us to the SB when we’re healthy, we’re just fine

It’s only PBS, fake news I’m sure.
In many cases, these black men are unarmed. No excuse. It needs to stop and Kap is spending his time and his money to make a difference.
@pfabiani@cjpearson@Kaepernick7 I don’t have a problem with law enforcement in general. 99 percent of those men and women do a heroic job, day in and day out. But you can’t ignore that deadly force is used at a much higher rate on black people than white people. That’s fact and what Kap is trying to fix.
@pfabiani@cjpearson@Kaepernick7 By taking a knee, people are talking about the police brutality problem that has been around a while and intensified around the time he started his protest. He has spent time since then doing what he can through time and money to help bring an end to it.
@pfabiani@cjpearson@Kaepernick7 He’s not insulting America, he’s trying to make it better. He decided to take a knee rather than sit after meeting with Nate Boyer, a former Army Green Beret. He’s donated time/money to charities since being out of the league. He’s standing up for those who don’t have a voice.
@pfabiani@cjpearson@Kaepernick7@pfabiani This has never been about him being a victim. It’s about him representing victims of police brutality, the vast majority of whom are black, bringing attention to that, and trying to bring about change.
