@matthew_d_green@sweis TDX is hopefully a much simpler programming model since you get the entire VM as opposed to having to specify specific code to run in the enclave.

@quant_arb@shipthecode @eigentango How much of that are you doing on the hot path of whatever you’re running? Wouldn’t you really just need to inference in c++ code?
@CancelledPapi@loopify This is the best reply. I truly believe he will have every penny taken from him but I also believe it’s unlikely that money will go to FTX customers who lost their money
@0xdoug @sweeetshrimp @patrick_oshag@CrocSwap Curious what the dark arts are for AWS? What can you do besides put your VMs in the same region/AZ as the CEX front end?
@thal0x I don’t think there’s anything particularly novel that Alchemy or Infura do in regards to scaling. Think you’re right that it’s just general distributed systems/networking type stuff that is common across large tech companies
@kevinsekniqi Curious what kind of workloads you guys see moving to blockchain settlement. I work on an enterprise OLTP database and don’t see any way customers could move their workloads to a blockchain
@Gojo_Crypto@traderjoe_xyz Is this the move or are we holding the token? IL could wipe out a lot of the upside on this, especially when the bonus rate is reduced
@cryptometito@das_connor Not sure about zones, but Polkadot has 64 parachains and is auctioning them off. Subnets are infinite and are “free” as long as you run a validator on the P Chain. @das_connor and @cgcardona discuss this on the most recent @SubnetShow
@0xdoug @chetfaliszek Totally agree. I just think that’s where you’re going to get the most blowback from guys like Chet. Like most things, I see the mainstream slowly adopting the lessons that the brave folks on the frontier are learning. Open write access being an area full of lessons and complexity
@0xdoug @chetfaliszek Not everything needs to go on the blockchain. Traditional data stores aren’t going anywhere, but imagine a game exposing item ownership publically and allowing third party markets to flourish. Can’t do that with just MySQL
@0xdoug @chetfaliszek Are there any examples of this happening? I hear this point made a lot but not sure if it’s really enough to shift the industry. IMO, the real boon of using permissionless public blockchain as a database is open sourcing your data and allowing the community to use it creatively
@das_connor Awesome show guys! A lot of really exciting stuff and my wheels are spinning. I think @cgcardona mentioned something about making any VM compatible with subnets just by implementing the RPC interfaces? Are there any docs or code pointers to those interfaces? Thanks!
