Btw, if your talking stage didn’t send you boyfriend’s day text/gift, you never reach your final bus stop o. You should still continue your aggressive search cos you haven’t found a girlfriend.
i remember when a very top crypto company reached out to hire me and i told them
i was still cooking where i was, and would like to still continue. the contact point was impressed by that response.
however, some months later, the job i was working in went south for me, and the opportunity slipped.
i learned a valuable lesson about opportunity.
On Day 2 of SysConf, we're hosting our annual technical leadership panel where we bring experienced engineering leaders to share their wisdom and answer questions. The goal of these sessions is to help engineers learn from people who have built strong engineering careers and have led teams and projects over a sustained period to drive impact.
This year our panel includes Adora Nwodo (@adoranwodo), Emmanuel Obidiegwu, and Emmanuel Igbodudu (@yorexx).
The technical leadership panel will be hosted on Sat, Oct 3rd, 2026, at 2pm WAT by Ayomide Oyekanmi (@_alternatewolf). See you there!

We’re excited to announce Ayodeji Akinola (@ayodeji0x0) as a speaker at SysConf 2026!
His talk is titled “Correctness Over Availability: Running an FX Market on One Writer.”
At Daya_HQ, where stablecoins trade against the Nigerian Naira, correctness is far more important than availability. So instead of a distributed cluster, where a split-brain scenario means losing money, the team runs a single writer: one process owns each market's order book.
This talk walks through the mechanics of their production system. Ayodeji breaks down the layout of Daya’s in-memory B-tree order book, how the engine deterministically recovers after a crash, their fencing implementation, and how the API scales out safely without touching the order book directly.

I need these last three months of the year to undo every L I’ve taken this year.
I need a serious financial comeback. Debts cleared, finances stable, money looking good. At this point, I’m available for a miracle.
