Hiring is dead
Degrees are dead
Experience is dead
Internships are dead
Freelancing is dead
Networking is dead
Entry-level jobs are dead
The 9–5 is dead
Even AI skills are becoming dead

So what the hell are we supposed to do now....? 🥲

The year is 2035. AI has taken over the internet. Nothing online is real anymore. Every video, every influencer, every girlfriend, every news story is fake. So everyone logged off.

Digital work was obliterated and automated. The most valualbe skills are now cooking, fixing a truck, farming and fixing things with your hands.

You moved to the land with your wife and 5 close couples.

Farmers and mechanics are the new millionaires. Dinner parties are the new social media. People write letters again. Your kids grow up barefoot, climbing trees and eating steak and eggs instead of scrolling.

News? the only news is your 6th kid on the way.

Turns out AI didn’t destroy humanity. It just made the internet so fake that we finally went back outside.

Corporate greed is Microsoft making $134 billion in profits last year, receiving $19 billion in tax breaks under Trump, paying a lower federal income tax rate than a nurse and getting rid of 60,000 workers.

“Corporations will create jobs if they get tax breaks” is a total scam.

[Nard @BarnyardAnimal5]

@Sevenontheriver @virgojyoti02 AI agent will be able to do anything a desk worker can do, and its not just about job numbers, it will be hours lost to AI. Physical robots will obviously play a big part, so why would office worker have a god complex about keeping their job, those that are worrying should be.

The middle class wasn't a natural outcome. It was a concession, made when elites feared revolt. Now the concession is gone, and we're slowly being pushed back toward serfdom while we argue about avocado toast.

David Graeber explained that one of the ways that Neoliberalism functions is through hopelessness.

Kill our hope until we think there is no point anymore.

Lula's amazing victory shows there still is hope. We should never give up!!!

The world needed hope right now - and Brazil delivered it.

After a wave of pro-American far-right candidates swept Latin America, Lula defied the odds.

The world's fourth largest democracy has been saved from far-right authoritarianism.

Here's to hope ✊

[Nard @BarnyardAnimal5]

@SantiagoAuFund Pretty sure its usually the hard right/fascist government, eg Trump/Elon that usually rig elections. You got it the wrong way round.

@4gU8m Do you think the west, eg countries like UK, Germany etc have funded pensions for the current working population. They don't. AI is on the horizon and already claiming jobs. A new financial system, 4th turning is arriving. I wouldn't leave china.

[Ben Norton @BenjaminNorton]

Huge news for Latin America, and the world:
Lula da Silva has won reelection in Brazil, despite blatant electoral meddling by the US.

Brazil is the biggest country in Latin America, a major geopolitical power, and a founding member of BRICS.

The US empire wanted to put back in power the corrupt, far-right Bolsonaro dynasty, which is extremely pro-US and pro-Israel.

The Bolsonaros vowed to minimize Brazil's role in BRICS, serve the interests of Brazilian oligarchs and big landlords at the expense of the working class, uphold the global US dollar system, and let US corporations plunder Brazil's natural resources -- especially its rare earths and critical minerals, which the US wants to reduce its reliance on China.

In contrast, Lula comes from a poor family and has always put the interests of the working class first. He has a non-aligned foreign policy, 100% supports Palestine, strongly believes in the importance of Global South integration and cooperation, and was a co-founder of BRICS.

Lula will deepen Brazil's partnership with China and the rest of the Global South. He will also continue to push for the transformation of the international financial system and will challenge the global dominance of the US dollar, which infuriates Washington.
