I'm running the Chicago Marathon in October with the American Heart Association's Run With Heart team, and I'm raising money to support them. My Dad's side of the family has a history of heart disease including my uncle who passed away at 48 due to heart disease and my dad who had a congenital bicuspid value discovered late in life, and had heart value replacement surgery in late 2024 (now training for his 4th half marathon)!

As a horror fan, I love the massive boom the genre has seen lately. But some of the hype of these movies has been untenable.

Longlegs, Sinners, Weapons. All great movies that did not live up to the marketing of “best horror movie in years”.
