UPON hearing an MP talking up tougher penalties for addicts and dealers alike, in response to the influx of synthetic opioids, as a recovering drug addict myself I can tell u no tough law or sanction would have influenced my decision to self medicate. These guys just dont get it.

@CommDRLawyer Ur right the county court system screems for modernisation. A proposal back in 2016 for an online court seems to have come to nothing. The ordered chaos of the county court setup needs to change.

This is plain crazy. Why are we wanting to make it easier for defendants accused of rape to get convicted than those accused of other crimes. Lowering the bar to pave the way to a “guilty” verdict is not justice- its the epitome of mis-justice.

Clobber the Poor! Seems to be this governments mantra as the rich get richer and the poor even more down trodden. Today universal credit is cut by £20pcm Tomorrow will bring rises in crime, social exclusion, child poverty, as levels of inequality sky rocket under this Tory govt

New Govt guidance expects people to wear face masks post 19th July when the law does not require it; this is bonkers, extremely bad governance and I suspect confusing for many. if we are “expected” to do something make it law otherwise SHUT UP with ur “guidance”!
