Filament tips all look like this now. Not a perfect shape, but no stringing. Which was my only real problem requiring MMU interventions.
Need to run some longer MMU prints to see if it is consistent across 1000s of filament swaps.
Looking good so far though.
Having some success enabling stamping for my @Prusa3D MK3S & MMU2S. Took the settings from a MK4 profile & tweaked a bit
Seems to have solved my stringy filament tip problem & reduced the amount of purge needed a lot
Left: Std Prusament profile
Right: Stamping enabled

Both prints ran the same test. Print to the red square, then switch to white. 20mm of purge on the tower then start the white part.
With stamping enabled, most of the red is removed from the nozzle so nothing is extruded until a small way in to the white part.
Thanks to a house move, my printers have been in storage for the last few months. Finally got to dust off my MK3 and after a couple of practical prints I’m able to start printing non-practical fun MMU prints!
Still no room for the XL yet, but feels good to be printing stuff again
😢 @3DFilaPrint
This is a big loss for hobby 3d printing in the UK. For me, they made it easy to pick up 1 or 2 spools at a time without paying crazy amounts on postage. Not sure that’s going to be possible any more.
Wish everyone there the best for whatever the future brings
@Rum_Race@gonecozycrafts@3DFilaPrint I’ve used Amazon before, mainly for esun filament. Good price and usually next day delivery. Not so good for brands like Fillamentum & ProtoPasta. Though it does look like there is a lot of PolyMaker.
@Rum_Race@3DFilaPrint They had a great range of brands & free next day delivery if you bought 2 spools. Which was perfect for me as a hobbyist.
My best option now is free delivery if I spent over £60 & I have to wait 8-10 days. Or go direct to one of the UK companies if they have the colour I need
After printing @hueforge models by @cyanidesugar_ last week, I had to buy a copy & try HueForge myself
Loved the LoL models, but there wasn’t one for Caitlyn, so I gave it a try
Happy with this for a 1st go, given I eyeballed the colours and guessed the TD’s. Lots more to learn
Next up on my week of @hueforge..
I was a big fan of the Arcane series (though never played LoL), so these models of Vi & Jinx by @cyanidesugar_ were a must print.
Love the shading effects that these models have, especially on Jinx.
The dark blue shifts to purple depending on the angle.
Filaments used were:
@Prusament Galaxy black
@Fillamentum Wizards voodoo & white
@Proto_pasta Mermaids teal, Candy apple red & Electric lemonade
It’s been a bit of a @hueforge week on my printer this week. First up was this awesome model.

Experimented to see how Hueforge looked with sparkly filaments. Really happy with how it came out.

This Panda @hueforge model by @cyanidesugar_ came out great!
Printed it for my daughter as she loves pandas. 🐼

Think I’m going to have to give Hueforge a go. I’ve got a few ideas I’d like to try.
