@KKoolyk We have all our hard red to combine yet and some places it looks like significant damage from sawfly. What variety you growing? We still grow Brandon
@BuffaloAgLtd I had a Diahatsu Climber for a few years. Bought it for fencing and calving. Found it great for calving time with the low 4x4 on bedding packs etc. It was murder on my back getting in and out and I also had trouble sourcing parts so I sold it.
@Wally_53@JohnLeePettim13@FriendsOScience Blades are fibreglass in the project near us and they are to be buried at end of life cycle as there are no recycling plans yet. That’s not to say there won’t be by the end of the 25 year cycle.
@Wally_53@JohnLeePettim13@FriendsOScience I understood it to be the project. Was at a conference yesterday where RES presented. Questions were asked in regards to cleanup at end of 25 years cycle. Above ground wiring and some components are recycled but the blades and underground wiring stays.
@Wally_53@JohnLeePettim13@FriendsOScience We have massive wind projects going up in my area. I’m thinking it would be similar to the UG cable connecting all the wind towers to the power grid. The wind projects have a 25 year life cycle according to companies putting them in. No one talks about how wasteful that is 🤷♂️
