Anyone else disappointed, but not surprised; that in the middle of a civil justice movement British people are queuing to get into Primark and purchase clothes notoriously made by slaves?
@elonmusk In a situation like this you have to ask yourself who was Starmer really protecting?
Because Saville had friends in high places. Well documented relationships - relationships with people at the absolute pinnacle of British society.
It wasn’t just Andrew and Epstein.
@AnAddictAtheist@JSRafaelism You use a lot of words to say very little and you use absurd points to back up obviously spurious claims.
It’s somewhere between reduction to absurdity and just plain irreverence. In any case I am actually bored of engaging you now.
@AnAddictAtheist@JSRafaelism Did you just compare problematic heroin use with accidentally cutting a finger?
The point is the wilfulness and the intention. In fact that’s the point you’ve missed across this entire thread.
I shudder at the prospects of your understanding of consent and intention irl.
@Nocturne121@William89325861@PoliceForReform Okay I just didn’t understand why you wanted me to consider the pain of people in withdrawal? I understand that’s the driver of the mechanics of the divergence. I wasn’t moralising that and I believe prohibition is the real cause of the actual issues at hand.
@AnAddictAtheist@JSRafaelism I presented that injectable heroin use is a case of self harm.
Self harm is by its very nature consensual. Rape is violence regardless of vehicle.
I’ve already illustrated in my last retort your baseless and abhorrent defence of stealthing and these comparisons are delusional
Surprise attack my arse. This is being allowed to happen. Hamas is owned by the Cult. Netanyahu is owned by the Cult. Mossad is owned by the Cult. And the Cult wants war involving Cult-owned Iran.
@AnAddictAtheist@JSRafaelism Did you just say that rape is a sexual act done with consent from both parties?
This is brain dead & to say that stealthing doesn’t require violence is moronic. It’s non consensual penetration. It’s the definition of violence it’s just presented through deceit instead of force.
@AnAddictAtheist@JSRafaelism I was happy leaving this and then you condescended to me.
I didn’t prove a point, I presented a whataboutism. I regret doing so, your arguments are abhorrent and nuance is clearly not something you can handle.
@JSRafaelism@AnAddictAtheist Yeah I read the rest of this thread and regret getting involved as this addictatheist guy is basically a moron.
Problematic injectable heroin use is definitely self harm but I don’t like this conversation and it’s not a hill I want to die on.
@Nocturne121@William89325861@PoliceForReform I’m pro heroin assisted treatment and full liberalisation of the drugs market I just didn’t like this guy’s interpretation of data.
Please don’t put words in my mouth or infer political positions. All I did was explain a spike in a graph in relation to a whataboutism.
@William89325861@PoliceForReform Almost all of those heroin and fentanyl deaths started with people on prescription medication. You can see the spike upwards in the 2010s as restrictions on opioids meant addicts diverted to the black market.
@sharkbaitza@ImanZayna @joshua210301 @ThamesVP And I’ve always felt that we should strive for better at home rather than just taking solace in the fact we aren’t Somalia.
