How can observing an animal’s teeth help us determine what they eat? Do we think that all of these teeth belong to the same species of shark? Why or why not? These are just a few of the questions we explored during science! #allin4theVille
It's not too late to sign up for our FREE virtual math PD sessions! Check out our offerings: https://t.co/nckucJadDr. For this week, we have virtual presentations by @kerrigan_john, @TimBrzezinski, @lowdenhere & Samantha Silva. @WWP_Schools@MTPSpride@geogebra@LenaKomitas
My biggest ah ha moment was realizing how important phenomenon-based instruction is for equity.
Focusing learning around figuring out a common experience or phenomenon rather than a science topic gives *everybody* an access point to enter the discussion. 🎓

Why you should stop pre-teaching science vocabulary and focus on students developing conceptual meaning first https://t.co/s4oq5quX6Y via @STEMTeachTools
The #NGSS are all about figuring out the world around us and some of the best learning can happen in students’ homes, communities and backyards! 🐛
We’d love to hear from parents, students, and #science educators about your science experiences this week.
