A man was killed on a downtown Vancouver Starbucks patio after a confrontation over public drug use. He was there with his partner and their three-year-old child. The accused has now been convicted of manslaughter, not murder.

That outcome will leave many British Columbians furious. A family went out for coffee and a father was killed in front of his partner and their young child. How did our streets get to the point where even a patio is not safe?

This government spent years weakening enforcement, normalizing open drug use, and failing to deliver a justice system that actually protects the public. They talked about public safety while disorder spread into the most ordinary places. A coffee shop. A family outing. A child sitting there when a man was killed.

The NDP’s soft-on-crime agenda has failed. British Columbians should not have to live like this.

I saw $1.58 per litre today, just across the border the price is around $2.78 per gallon. After conversion to our dollar it works out to $1.04 per litre.
Then on April 1st the price of fuel in Canada goes up yet again because of the carbon tax increase. Then "summer" gas will increase it again.

A Punjabi from India who can't speak English, robs a liquor store a few months ago, and kills four people including an infant as he's escaping pursuit by crashing his cargo van going the wrong way on the highway.

He was already in violation of bail conditions for previous crimes. He's been released on probation and not charged with murder. He was sentenced to 5.5 months in jail because six months and above would have meant he would have been deported. His immigration status is unclear.

This is law and order in @JustinTrudeau ' s Canada. Absolute travesty. Put this guy on the next flight to India.
