@allenholub The math subject that I find I use most often (and which I'm glad I took) is probability and statistics. Comes in handy very often when dealing with things like load balancing for example. Calculus, not so much.
@rickwaalders Sadly no. But I find that when you have alerts set up through slack (for example) there is really not much need for an app. Any kind of in depth analysis wouldn't work on a phone anyway.
@GergelyOrosz @moritznotes I've heard the argument that Germans are very privacy minded and don't like the idea that there is a record of all their expenses. I do not know if this true but it was a German person who explained this to me.
@erolalkan I recently exchanged my imac for macbook air m2 and it is so much faster. Definitely recommended. Had to say goodbye to some legacy vsts like Absynth though (although it works in Rosetta but then I need to run ableton in Rosetta too)
@SergioRocks Ability to deliver in the face of ambiguous, unclear or incomplete requirements or instructions. Seniors don't get blocked. They unblock themselves.
@DevKiper@GergelyOrosz You'd be surprised how many applications that support 2fa allow you to reset 2fa using email. Protect your Google account in the strongest way possible.
@postma Is dit niet precies wat je zou verwachten met webshops die dagelijks elkaars prijzen op de voet volgen? Heb je volgens mij geen afspraken voor nodig.
@JustAnotherPM IMO this is a bad user story. As a homeowner, I don't think about supporting the roof. I want to stay dry when it rains and stay warm when it's cold outside. I'll leave it to the engineers to figure out the solution.
@SergioRocks A CS degree is neither sufficient nor required for a software engineer, but it does help a lot to become a better software engineer.
Also, computer science is much more than "how computers work".
