During my recent visit to one of our HPCL retail outlets — Kishore Filling Station, Lucknow — I found myself wondering: Was this truly a fuel station, or something far beyond it?

What I witnessed was a thoughtfully created customer space reflecting care, culture, inclusivity & pride. From exceptionally clean surroundings & restrooms to a dedicated “Utility Point for Women” & Fueling Island for Women customers, every detail reflected genuine customer-centric thinking. The beautiful Madhubani paintings on the walls added warmth & character, transforming the outlet into a welcoming public space rather than just a transit point.

This is the future we are striving to build at HPCL — retail outlets that go beyond fuel dispensing to become benchmarks in customer experience, safety, cleanliness, inclusivity, convenience & community connect. A heart warming example of a system based on mutual trust can be seen at work in some villages of Sindhudurg District of Maharashtra where LPG consumers simply leave empty cylinders outside their homes or with neighbours. They either make the payment online or leave the money along with the empty cylinders if they know they wouldn’t be home to personally take the delivery. To ensure uninterrupted energy supply to every kitchen, the trusted and hardworking staff of @HPCL delivers filled cylinders after checking for correct weight and leakage. लोग घर पे हों या ना हों, गैस का सिलेंडर मिल जाएगा! What makes this indigenous system unique is that it is based on PM Sh @narendramodi Ji’s mantra of साफ़ नियत, सही विकास - there have been no reported thefts of these cylinders.
Kudos to the people of the villages of Sindhudurg and to the foot soldiers of India’s energy sector for their exemplary effort.

On the morning of Tuesday, the 16th, a filled LPG bullet was washed away in Ankola, Uttar Kannada, due to a sudden landslide.
In a first-of-its-kind operation, HPCL, along with the Indian Navy, District Administration, NDRF, and SDRF, came together to execute a daring rescue mission. The collaborative efforts led to the safe retrieval and disposal of the LPG bullet, ensuring no harm was done.
