The last few weeks have been devastating. The scale of what my country lost is still being counted, and a lot of people are still without homes.

What kept happening through all of it was people across crypto reaching out, asking where they could send money. I did not have a good answer for them. There were places collecting, but no way to take crypto and actually get it into the government's relief fund as rupees, and it kept eating at me that the will to help was there and the rails were not.

So I started building for it. Once word got out, teams and ecosystems started reaching out wanting to help, and it turned out everyone was sitting on the same problem. Together we could do it at a scale none of us could alone.

@solana , the ecosystem I work in and represent here, has already contributed $167,000 through the pfp takeover.

Now it is open to everyone. Any token, any chain, individuals or foundations. It moves in crypto and lands as local currency in the relief fund. This is the future of finance.

This is what stablecoins were built for. Money getting to people while it still counts.

Nepal is home. Doing this alongside fellow Nepalis and getting to give something back to our own country is a kind of pride nothing else comes close to.
