Surprised to see Yilber Diaz designated for assignment. Since he has options remaining, you'd have to think someone claims him. (Taylor Rashi was claimed by the Twins, and Diaz has more of what teams look for.) And the #Dbacks are really out of depth for hitters and pitchers

Daulton Varsho, Dominic Canzone, and Jose Caballero have all gone on to produce elsewhere. Jake McCarthy and Alek Thomas have each produced more than any of the non-Corbin bats.

For all the talk about the bullpen being a weakness for #Dbacks, it has cost them just five games this year, below league average. On the other hand, 13 times a starting pitcher has left in line for a loss and the team has come back. White Sox lead the league with 17.

The #Dbacks have two of the bottom ten, but that doesn't tell the whole story. They rank 7th in quality start percentage, but bottom third in average game score. It's feast or famine, good start or complete blow up.
