@Ken42106@CookedByGrimace@NYNJHarper Bichette isn’t performing because he isn’t hitting line drives or pulling the ball, leading to a lower BABIP. I’m just not sure why you dismiss the stat that explains exactly what you’re saying.
@Ken42106@CookedByGrimace@NYNJHarper Gotta love when twitter trolls think they know more than MLB front offices. It’s pretty obvious that hitting the ball hard is going to lead to hits more often, and therefore if you’re hitting the ball hard on a line and your BABIP is low, you’re due for regression.
@uuujason@Cmurino84@MetsScope Since getting recalled only July 21st, Alvarez ranks 9th in the MLB in wRC+. So yeah, one of the best hitters in baseball.
@uuujason@Cmurino84@MetsScope “Every time he’s been moved up in the past, he’s failed.” Counterpoint, he’s 24 and has been one of the best hitters in baseball since getting recalled last year.
@MTruax123 @BronxBmbrz The game was dying before the changes. The pitch clock, ABS, challenges, etc. are saving baseball. You can be a purist if you want, but you’ll end up a purist of a dead game.
@gemsaloon1899@PitcherListPLV The “Results” score factors in the pitchers actual line, while location and stuff scores are given independent of results. You can have great stuff and great location and still have a bad game, and vice versa.
@TheBoxingRant@Roto_Frank If you want to be remotely competitive playing fantasy baseball, it’s pertinent to understand the stats they talk about. The advanced stats they reference are often ones that have existed for 5+ years atp, it’s not on them if you can’t understand.
