Understandably every year we’re looking for “the next Josh Allen”. But I think there were a really interesting set of good & bad marks that made Allen such a unique evaluation. This year the guy who reminds me of him is QB Chase Mason of SDSU. It’s a bit eerie, tbh.
- Josh Allen was a small town boy (Firebaugh, CA) and Chase Mason is from Viborg, SD.
- Josh Allen was a multi sport star at Firebaugh. Baseball guy with a 90+ mph fastball, switch hitter, ended up focusing on football. Chase Mason was a top 100 baseball recruit with a 90+ mph fastball and throws righty bats lefty, went to Nebraska for baseball, transferred to SDSU because he missed football.
- Obviously there are some gross dimensional similarities. Josh Allen was 6047 & 237 lbs. Chase Mason is 6044 & 240 lbs. But even that aside, they’re built similarly.
- Also hard to compare any QB to Josh Allen unless he has fantastic running/scrambling ability and can throw a ball thru half-inch plywood. According to Bruce Feldman, Chase Mason has a 40” vertical, has clocked 22.7 mph on Catapult systems, and can throw it 82 yards.
- But we also have to remember the reason almost everyone hated Josh Allen as a prospect was because of his accuracy. Analytics-based evaluation was really starting to catch on and everyone came up with a new analytic to say the same thing, over and over, which is that Josh Allen had a tendency to drop that elbow, get lazy with his feet and follow-thru, and the ball would come out wrong and nowhere near where it should go. This was a consistency issue disguised as an accuracy issue. Funny thing is, I see similar in Chase Mason. Nearly identical college career adjusted accuracy percentages between Allen (67%) and Mason (68%). And the issues are so similar in terms of tendency to drop that elbow.
- There are things from IQ, toughness, and comportment standpoints that made Josh Allen special, and these are things I can’t know about a Chase Mason. But, he picked football despite a promising baseball future (which was also true of Mahomes), and he patiently bided his time (even taking snaps as a ball carrier like Cole Payton did at NDSU) sitting the bench behind proven winner Mark Gronowski (now Miami Dolphin), picking loyalty over money instead of transferring, and he’s gone 10-2 since taking over the job once Gronowski transferred to Iowa. Last year he was 8-1 as a starter for the Jacks, who went 1-4 during the 5 games he missed to injury.
This guy is 100% on NFL scouts radars after turning heads at SDSU’s pro day last year. Real dark horse for 2027 in a year where many who were expected to top that QB class have stumbled out of the gates a bit.
Now that Trump is in office and the charade is over, Zelensky admits he did not receive over $100 billion of our tax dollars.
He says he “does not know where all the money is”.
Meaning Ukraine was a massive money laundering operation, and the Biden regime never actually cared about defending Ukraine or preserving democracy. All of the pro-Ukraine propaganda was a psyop to garner American support, so the People would willingly send our tax dollars to “defend democracy”, and it worked on millions.
All of it was a lie, just so Western oligarchs could use Ukraine as a laundry mat. They sacrificed the lives of millions of soldiers, because of their greed. They stole our money from our labor, then used it to start and fund a war on the other side of the globe, and then lied about it. They bankrupt the American People, and stuffed their pockets, while millions suffered.
It was all a scam. Many of us said this from the beginning and we were labeled as “Russian assets”.

MSNBC’s Morning Joe now says men shouldn’t be able to compete against women in sports and Democrats shouldn’t be allowing it. The woke mind virus is in full retreat in the bright light of an election ass kicking.

“Our conditions are horrible, we can’t afford anything. As working class and middle class people. Now please understand this, we love our brothers and sisters who are Democrats, but you left us.”

Undeniable. Cocaine almost took me out and I got clean in 1984. Became a licensed counsellor for drug addicted teens and worked at Coldwater Canyon Hospital, a lock down facility for a number of years. No doubt, she is cranked on blow and is also drunk. That is my ‘professional opinion’. (Swiping her nose is the topper.)
