already seeing people quit who got into this market 3-6 months ago
if you came here bc you wanted to make quick money, and are giving up after the first big drawback, then you didn't really want it bad enough to begin with
I'll never regret putting my full focus on this during the bear market when everything was dead, because it made me ready for when things exploded
if you refine your skills when things are slower (like right now) you will be ready to go when things get better
drop the video games, stop going out, and go find a friend group to grind with during all of your free time while you still can
perpetual fascination & need for over-indexing sentiment based 'cycle top' calls on specific events [eg. Trump/Melania memetics] for a lot of participants is mind-boggling to me;
a market where;
- BTC hasn't even distributed/topped yet
- ETH hasn't even broken ATHs
- SOL is barely above ATHs
- 98% of alts are trading below previous cycle highs and/or 2023-2024 'early bull' highs
- Google searches/social metrics not even close to 2017/2021 highs
- Onchain metrics indicating more growth with ease
- Derivatives data is as cooled off as it gets, not even close to Q1 2024 levels, let alone 2021
- Macro is fine, no, really, it is
...yet participants will experience irrational PTSD, isolate a narrative to fit their 'top is in' bias, fixate on it, over-index the data points because these sets seem 'absurd'... I'm sorry, are you retarded, are we in the same industry?
-> just because POTUS/FL launched a coin?
instead of using that information, inserting it into all of the arguments above, understanding that TODAY is inauguration of a pro-crypto president/businessman looking to leave a legacy - some will unironically call 'froth' or 'cycle top'
these events are kick-starting the motor for altcoins, not finishing the race
the same individuals calling for anything else are the exact same pessimists that were sidelined in 2023, late in 2024 and will likely turn fully bullish at the top to make up for their dogshit takes, PTSD, illogical and irrational market opinion
