2025 P&L: currently sitting at +400% YTD.
Wish I joined USIC on Jan 1 so that was fully reflected but regardless, I’m proud of the progress.
I'm looking for one more small push into EOY and then closing the books for the year.
Before that, I wanted to reflect and share some thoughts on how 2025 went and what I’m looking to improve in 2026 (hopefully some of this resonates or lines up with what you're working towards too):
Confidence in my Process:
There were stretches this year where I went slightly red and nothing seemed to work, no matter how confident I was.
Those are the moments that test you the most. I didn't abandon my system, I stayed grounded, and worked through it. I adapted and instead of system hopping, I refined what I already had. That alone was a big win.
Managing Contentment:
There were times where I was very green but it didn't feel enough. I wanted more and that led to some forced trades via FOMO and over extension.
In 2026, I want to minimize these forced trades as much as possible. We can't be perfect but being aware makes for a happier equity curve. This means viewing setups objectively, and not through the lens of “I need more.”
Sharpening Selectivity:
If I had to pinpoint where I left the most on the table this year, it was taking setups that were “decent” instead of “A+.” This kind of goes hand in hand with contentment, but it's also about capital allocation and opportunity cost. Rather than spreading risk across multiple "decent" setups, I'd rather go heavier on a few
"A+" setups that truly deserve it.
In 2026, I want to be even more ruthless with selectivity. Tighter filters, cleaner triggers, and more discipline in "saying no" when things aren’t lining up exactly right ESPECIALLY when the macro isn't in sync.
Ready for 2026. Grateful for 2025. And I’m so happy I get to share this journey with you all.
Let's get sharper together and continue leveling up.
