@Wolfgang18842 bipartisan infrastructure bill and the inflation reduction act made insane investments into public transport and a whole bunch of other things, child tax credits helping out lower income americans, student loan forgiveness, usa being in no active conflicts. undoubtedly a goat
@TheBrancaShow@cturnbull1968 if everyone had a 9mm there would be hundreds more shooting deaths every year and everyone would be a lot less safe and trusting of oneanother
@MullyJZ@ZohranKMamdani sometimes regulation can be bad and not in a ronald reagan kinda way. nimbyism and extensive and difficult permit processes for building housing is a shining example of over-regulation that conservatives advocate for and abuse heavily.
@artjammys yeah i had the same issue. so annoying because i was there before they went live on their website thinking the tickets button would take you to the tickets but you actually had to go the ozticks website but all the other tickets buttons for prev dates did take you to tickets
@literar63 they need to have a stern talking to whoever is making the new signs here and in the metro tunnel they have such tiny writing and so much dead space
@Awk20000 magatards trying to rationalise gavins tweeting as anything but a troll about trump being retarded and having the english skills of a third grader is hilarious
@samuelmxc yeah sure thats good and can act as a sort of lead for other countries but if were exporting like a billion tonnes of coal and oil and shit it means jack squat lol
@msignau@Turkingtology i think its not that accurate to compare us with the uk, theyve got a much worse economic situation and are going absolutely nuts over migration. were doing relatively well with rate cuts and are slowly but surely easing the housing crisis.
@Turkingtology and everyones talking about how were avoiding the right wing youth radicalisation of many other countries tbh i think its a matter of time unless we start taking the male loneliness epidemic seriously and heal the ideological gender divide or atleast prevent it from worsening
@michaelje@AusPoll6 we saw what saying 'far right is bad' got for america and what is now happening in the UK, Germany and much of europe; when people are struggling or are perceiving threats, they vote for whoever communicates mosy effectively to them, and the left wing hasnt been doing that at all
@michaelje@AusPoll6 it is worrying, but we have to realise that if we cant communicate that the greens can offer genuine solutions to our most aignificnat problems or at least convey that labor is better than the liberals then this sentiment is only going to grow.
