Everyone in Nigeria has a location. Now every location has a postcode.
Today, NIPOST launches the National Digital Postcode System, and I’m speaking to you from the heart of it: our new GIS lab, where every corner of Nigeria is being mapped and coded.
No more “turn left after the blue gate.” Your postcode connects you to deliveries, e-commerce, emergency services, banking and government services, wherever you are.
After a successful pilot in Abuja, it’s now live nationwide.

Proud to lead the team building infrastructure that puts every Nigerian on the map.
My deepest gratitude to President @officialasiwajubat for his vision and support under the Renewed Hope Agenda, and to the Hon. Minister @bosuntijani , whose leadership in building Nigeria’s digital economy made this possible.
Thank you to the NIPOST @nipostngn family, our partners, and every Nigerian who joined the exercise . This is national infrastructure built by Nigerians, for Nigerians.

Three kinds of Nigerians dominate the Internet.
- People with smartphones but no discipline. They do not see anything beyond their nose; they spread rumours and panic.
- People who use smartphones with judgment. They verify facts. They add context. They raise the quality of conversation.
- People who know exactly what they are doing but spread hate, intolerance, and disinformation.
A smartphone gives every one of us a voice, but character decides how that voice is used.
THEY CAN SEND YOU TO PRISON;
• Never give your phone to someone to make a call.
One call can link your number to fraud, extortion, or worse.
• Never book a taxi, ride, or delivery for a stranger.
If something illegal happens, your account is the first trail.
• Never carry packages or items for anyone.
You're not being helpful. You're being used as a mule.
• Never accept "just hold this for a minute."
That minute can cost you years.
Never transfer money for someone else.
That “small favor” can be money laundering.
• Never share IDs, OTPs, or personal details.
Crimes are committed in seconds. Sentences last years.
Be careful who you help.
The law doesn't care that you "didn’t know."
Dear Governor @Kyusufabba
We call on the Kano State Government to urgently intervene in the worsening condition of Kiru General Hospital the only general hospital serving thousands of residents across Kiru LGA, Kano State and neighbouring communities.
The situation has reached a critical level, and immediate action is needed to protect lives and restore confidence in the healthcare system.
Kiru General Hospital has been battling severe shortages of medical personnel since its transition from a primary healthcare centre to a General Hospital under the Kano State Hospital Management Board.
The facility lacks adequate doctors, nurses, midwives, laboratory technicians, and essential support staff. This shortage has stretched the remaining workers beyond capacity, increased waiting times, and forced many patients to seek help elsewhere.
The hospital is also struggling with inadequate medical equipment. Essential diagnostic tools and machines required for emergencies, surgeries, and critical care are either outdated, malfunctioning, or completely unavailable. Even life-saving procedures such as cesarean sections cannot be carried out promptly because the theatre lacks the necessary functional equipment. As a result, patients including pregnant women in labour are routinely referred to distant hospitals in Gwarzo and Karaye, exposing them to dangerous delays and additional costs.
This is the only general hospital accessible to several communities in Kiru. It provides emergency care, maternal and child health services, and treatment for everyday medical conditions. Its current state does not reflect the commendable efforts of the Kano State Government toward improving healthcare infrastructure across the state.
We urgently appeal for immediate deployment of more medical professionals, provision of modern diagnostic and treatment equipment, rehabilitation of key facilities such as the theatre, laboratory, and emergency unit, and strengthening of administrative and operational support to ensure long-term efficiency.
The people of Kiru deserve a functional, equipped, and reliable general hospital. No resident should lose their life or suffer complications due to avoidable delays or lack of medical equipment. Your swift intervention will go a long way in safeguarding public health and ensuring that the only general hospital in Kiru can meet the needs of the communities depending on it.
We call on His Excellency and all relevant authorities to act now lives depend on it.

🇸🇦 A 78-year-old man was admitted to a private Saudi hospital after collapsing from fatigue. He was placed on oxygen for 24 hours, and Alhamdulillah, he recovered soon after.
When the doctor 👨⚕️ handed him a bill of SR 2,000, the man began to cry. The doctor gently said, “Please don’t cry, I’ll pay the bill myself.”
The elderly man replied,
“I’m not crying because of the bill — I can afford it.
I’m crying because I just realized that I’ve been breathing Allah’s air for 78 years, and I never paid a single riyal.
If 24 hours of oxygen costs SR 2,000, then how much do I owe Allah for a lifetime of His blessings?”
The doctor lowered his head in tears. 😢
Twelve Money Rules That Will Put You In The 1%
Stop buying things because you want to improve your status in society. Purchase stuff because they have utility value for you.
Invest first and spend next. Don't spend first and invest later.
Reduce your friends and increase your mentors, and your finances will increase while your bills will decrease.
You don't need an iPhone 17. You are not 17 17-year-old. You are an adult with 17 more pressing responsibilities than an iPhone 17.
Trying to impress people who are not paying attention to you will compress you financially.
You only show off with money when you have little to offer yourself and the world. But when you have intelligence, achievements, ambition, and fulfilment, the need to use money to signal your status evaporates.
Master Money, and nobody will master you.
You don’t know anyone until you have had financial dealings with them. Therefore, don't lend money to friends and family. Give them what juju you can afford, and if you cannot afford any money as a gift, give them moral support. You don't owe them!
The fastest way to turn a friend into an enemy is to lend them money.
Borrowing to consume is consuming your future. If you must take a loan, let it be to expand an already successful business, for education, or for your health.
Money lent to a wife or girlfriend is automatically considered a gift by the debtor.
Save to invest because you can't save to grow rich.

Be good to others... It'll matter some day! Decisions that'll impact your life are often made when you're not in the room. How good you are to those people WILL be remembered. Be wise, be kind, it matters!
IMPACT ALERT !!!
Through our advocacy at @Monitng, the Kano State Government under Gov. @Kyusufabba has commenced the general renovation of Government Technical College, Ungogo, Kano State
When we visited the school, classrooms had leaking roofs, broken windows, and crumbling walls. Hostels lacked mattresses, while toilets were completely unusable.
Students like 16-year-old Aliyu, who once dreamt of becoming an engineer, abandoned school because the environment was uninhabitable.
This sad reality pushed us to raise our voices, and today we are glad to see action.
Gov. @Kyusufabba’s administration has listened and responded, showing that citizen advocacy works when government is accountable.
We commend this intervention but emphasize that transparency and quality must guide the renovation process. Students deserve safe hostels, functional classrooms, and an environment that inspires learning and dignity.
At MonitNG, we will follow up on this renovation until full completion, because this is not just about fixing structures, it’s about restoring hope and opportunity for thousands of Kano youths.

Many of the things you complain about are actually proof that you are blessed. You complain about the cost of petrol. But that means you are blessed with a car. You gripe about your boss, which means that God favoured you with a job. You return to a messy home and yell at your children. Would you prefer to go back to a clean house without children? Your kitchen is full of dirty plates, and you are sad. But those untidy plates reflect the fact that you have food. Listen, before you complain, try to come plain about the blessings you are not giving thanks for!

There is a difference between a humble person and a humbled person. A humbled person is one who has been humbled by life. It is not a voluntary humility. It is a modesty that was forced on them by circumstances. If you feel sorry for them and help them lift the circumstances, humbling them, their transformation will shock you. You can lend them money, thinking they are a timid cat. But try to get back your money from them at the time they promised to pay, and you will be shocked by their transformation from a domestic cat to a wild and terrifying lion! The humility was just an act.

I'm not afraid of death, but I am afraid of the grave. Our first day in the grave, we have no idea how it feels to be in the grave. A new life, a new home and a new environment, grave is the first part of meeting Allah. Let's ask ourselves, if we are to die now? What deeds do we have to show before Allah ? Good or Bad? Death is the one and only reality we can never escape. Our wealth, academic qualifications, family status, lineage, beauty or rank in office cannot save us, nothing can save us except our good deeds. YA Allah make the journey an easy for us, forgive, and grant us janatul Firdaus…..Aameen!
Don’t let excitement make you share things too early. Be silent until you’re sure. Even when you’re sure, don’t give away too much. The less they know about you, the more peaceful your life.
