This team needs the old Mourinho. They need a ruthless leader, someone with a much lower tolerance of mediocrity. None of these problems of the last 2 years are going to get solved anything soon repeating the same things and being so gentle.

I'm a very patient person. I always painfully try to totally watch this guy's videos, as terrible as they always are.

ON ATIKU'S FRAUDULENT CAMPAIGN TO RETURN PETROL SUBSIDIES:

FYI, Buhari's government didn't pay petrol subsidies to any fuel importer throughout his 8yrs government. The only subsidy he paid from 2015 into 2016 were the verified amounts owed to importers from GEJ's government.

The kind of subsidies in his government is akin to what the crooked and desperate Atiku is proposing today with the difference that the refineries were abroad and NNPC had to be receiving and solely importing the products from the refineries they sent the crude to in swap arrangements. This was christened DSDP and under recovery.

Still, the conversation around subsidies in terms of fraud and most importantly how it held up funds meant for the federation account never went away. It got to an extent that NNPC was no longer remitting any money to the account as all were used up as subsidies on petrol.

The real issue with subsidy in Buhari's government was less of subsidy fraud and more of unsustainability due to the fact that almost all revenues due from NNPC to the federation account were being expended on petrol subsidies.

There is no style of petroleum subsidy that will not be abused in Nigeria and which will not lead us into further unsustainable debts and another distortion in the oil and gas industry that's gradually coming back to full production as the IOCs have regained their lost confidence and have started investing massively again like they were doing several years ago. You know this, we all know this.

Lastly, the maxim that Nigeria is a rich country because of a 1.6m barrels of daily crude oil is grossly offensive as the opposite is absolutely the case due to our bloated population. Rich oil countries have far more barrels of daily oil production with very little population. You cannot be possibly calling yourself an oil rich country with 1.6mbbls/day and a 250m population. If an ignorant and uneducated Atiku can say that, you with your education should be able to know there's something called per capita oil production. Nigeria's total yearly oil and tax revenues is not even up to a third of South Africa's yearly revenues yet we're 4x the population of South Africa.

Atiku Abubakar is just a desperate crook and Nigerians cannot afford to gamble with him at this point of our lives.

It'll amount to one step forward and 100 steps backward.

When I announced that I will be speaking at the NBA AGC in Port Harcourt, Rivers, a mutual here reached out to me to book my flights but I had already booked the flights. So he sent the money to me instead.

Two days later, a good friend of mine who lives in PortHarcourt sent me a message to ask if I had booked my hotel or found a place to stay during my stay. I told him no. He said, don’t worry, I got you covered and I will provide you with a vehicle that will take you from the airport and during your stay.

Then yesterday, I went for a meeting with a client and on our way back, he asked me if I had gotten a suit for NBA outing and I told him yes, that I have a suit that I have only worn once. He said no, you need to get a brand new suit. He drove me down to a store in Lekki Phase and asked me to pick a quality suit of my choice. I did and he paid for it, including the money to adjust it.

I have been thinking and asking myself since yesterday: Kini mo fi se ori (what’s special about me)? And the only answer that I could get is: nothing, but grace: aanu ni mo ri gba 🤲

What exactly is wrong with a citizen freely exercising his democratic right to choose a candidate - and to stand by that choice?

You are as wrong as those mocking his predicament.

Did Mr. Ibu not fall ill and eventually succumb to his ailment despite openly supporting Peter Obi in 2023? Did you see any progressive mocking his illness or turning his suffering into political ammunition?

More importantly, did you hear them mock him because he could not find a befitting hospital in the Anambra State his candidate governed for eight years, and had to receive treatment in Lagos?

Is Mama Ngozi Nwosu not currently battling ill health and receiving treatment in Lagos? I recall that the last time she was bedridden and desperately needed help, Peter Obi was Governor of Anambra State.

Yet, it was the Lagos State Government under Babatunde Fashola that reportedly supported her recovery.
Which of us saw progressives mock her for seeking healthcare outside the state governed by the candidate she supported?

That is the point.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with a citizen supporting Peter Obi, Bola Tinubu, Atiku Abubakar, or any other candidate in a democracy. Political choice is not a crime, and loyalty to a candidate does not constitute a waiver of one's right to healthcare, dignity or compassion.

A citizen's political preference should never become a licence for others to dance on his misfortune.
You do not have to agree with someone's choice to respect his right to make it.

Democracy gives citizens the freedom to choose; decency demands that we do not weaponise their suffering because of the choice they made.

And frankly, the fact that you had to pander to the very idea that there was something wrong with a citizen supporting his preferred candidate is not merely an argument poorly made - it is an intellectual disappointment.

The man’s “crime” is far more grievous in the eyes of this maggot: he exercised his constitutional right to support a presidential candidate of his choice.

Ogogo has spent decades building a reputation around his craft, dignity and gentlemanly conduct. Yet here comes a young man, armed with nothing but bile and bitterness, wishing the worst upon someone simply because their political choices differ.

What a tragedy!

Apparently, to Lively and his ilk, democracy is a beautiful bride only when she rides his candidate to orgasm. Anyone who refuses to join their political procession becomes deserving of sickness, misfortune - even death.

If your candidate needs the illness of his opponents supporters to make his politics healthy, then something is terribly sick with the politics itself.

Meanwhile, Mr. Ibu, Ngozi Nwosu and several other known supporters of Peter Obi have either passed away or battled debilitating illnesses. Yet I do not recall Progressives mocking their frailty or celebrating their deaths. Why? Because civilisation teaches us that political disagreement should never extinguish human compassion.

The saddest irony is that this is a young man, barely in his 30s, speaking with the arrogance of someone who has negotiated a permanent lease with tomorrow.

He has not.

None of us has.

The living do not know the manner of their departure; therefore, the wise tread softly upon the misfortunes of others.

Today, you mock another man's hospital bed. Tomorrow is a country no mortal has visited.

I may not be certain of many things in this life, but I am increasingly convinced of one political reality: Peter Obi’s third defeat at the polls is inevitable.

Because a political movement that repeatedly presents hatred, contempt and bile as its loudest instruments will struggle to persuade the very people it hopes to govern.

A nation is too great to be entrusted to a movement that mistakes intolerance for conviction and bitterness for patriotism.

Politics will come and go. Candidates will rise and fall. Elections will be won and lost.

But humanity should remain.

For when the political drums fall silent, we are all still mortals standing beneath the same uncertain sky.
