Nearly 50,000 people in the Lake Tahoe area have been told that their utility will stop providing power to them, because it's redirecting that power to data centers.
NV Energy, the Nevada utility that has supplied most of Lake Tahoeโs electricity for decades, says that next year it will stop servicing homes in the area, and instead direct that electricity to the growing demand from Nevada data centers.
Northern Nevada is one of the fastest-growing data-center corridors in the country.

@CodySuek I would say I'd have a very miniscule chance of lucking into a fair hit. It would likely not happen in 20 chances.
Myles would destroy me, my family, and all of my friends.
@FtblSickness I imagine that any up and coming coach that didn't land a coveted job this cycle will just wait for a better opening next year and continue to build their resume. The Browns, at this point, is a very unappealing opportunity right now.
