United States Representative Sara Jacobs kicks against the false narrative of a “Christian genocide” in Nigeria!
God bless you, ma’am @RepSaraJacobs 👏
This afternoon, I completed a three-day condolence visit to Daura, Katsina State, where I joined many other sympathisers for the third-day prayers in honour of the late President Muhammadu Buhari.
Before participating in the larger congregational prayers, I, along with former Kaduna State Governor Mallam Nasir el-Rufai, offered special prayers at the graveside of the deceased.
Before leaving Daura, I visited Aisha Buhari, the widowed former First Lady, to express my condolences.
Once again, may Almighty Allah forgive his sins and grant him Aljannatul Firdaus. -AA
I am deeply saddened by the news of the passing of former President Muhammadu Buhari, a man whose life was defined by unflinching patriotism, stoic discipline, and a lifelong commitment to the sovereignty and unity of our great nation.
President Buhari was not just a former Head of State, he was a symbol of Nigeria’s resilience. From the battlefield to the corridors of power, he served with the kind of austere conviction and firm belief in duty that marked him as a soldier of principle and a leader of formidable will.
His death is not just a loss to his immediate family and the people of Daura, it is a profound national tragedy. Nigeria has lost a statesman who bore the burdens of leadership in both turbulent and triumphant times and whose legacy will be remembered for generations to come.
To his beloved family, I offer my deepest condolences. I pray for strength and comfort in this time of grief. To the people of Katsina State and the entire nation, I mourn with you. May we all take solace in the knowledge that he gave his life to the service of Nigeria and never wavered in his belief in her promise.
May Allah, the Most Merciful, forgive his shortcomings and grant him eternal rest in Aljannah Firdaus. -AA

Atiku Abubakar, former Vice President of Nigeria (1999-2007), visited the Shehu of Borno, HRH Abubakar Ibn Umar Garbai Al-Amin, to express sympathy for the recent devastating flooding in Maiduguri.
While in the state, Atiku donated N100 million Naira to the flood victims. He also offered prayers for the souls of those who lost their lives, for the speedy recovery of the injured, and for those who lost their properties.
Former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, congratulates fellow Muslim faithful on the celebration of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir festival, calling it, “a celebration of God’s love and mercy to mankind.”
The former Vice President, who is also the Waziri Adamawa sent his goodwill message to Muslims through a press statement on Saturday from his media office.
Atiku noted that the celebration of Eid, as stated in the scriptures, is not merely a fanfare but an admonition to the people to have forbearance and show compassion in every situation.
The former Vice President equally sizes the opportunity of the Eid celebration to call on governments at all levels to be deliberate in initiating measures that will ease the hardship that confronts Nigerians on a basis.
He also reminds Muslims in Nigeria and across the world to remember their responsibility of being good ambassadors of the religion by living their lives according to the practices and teachings of the noble Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
ATIKU CALLS FOR A UNITED FRONT TO RESCUE NIGERIA AND RESTORE GENUINE DEMOCRATIC GOVERNANCE IN THE COUNTRY
The former Vice President of Nigeria during the Fourth Republic (1999-2007), His Excellency Atiku Abubakar, has urged all Nigerians to put aside their differences and political affiliations and come together to address the challenging political issues facing the nation.
Atiku, the national leader of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) and the party's flag bearer in the controversial 2023 presidential election made this declaration today in Abuja when various political interest groups paid him a solidarity visit at his Abuja home.
Speaking at the occasion, Dr. Pascal Ejeh, the leader of the PDP National WhatsApp Group, expressed that Atiku is not only the face of the PDP but also the beacon of hope for ordinary Nigerians. He emphasized that Atiku signifies hope for the common citizens, loved by many Nigerians. He urged Atiku whom he believed won the disputed 2023 election not to be discouraged but to continue to strive to inspire the country to make it a better place for all.
In a similar vein, Dr. Kamaludeen Adigun, the DG of the One Movement for Atiku/Okowa, stated that the purpose of their visit is to show solidarity with Atiku and to ask him to continue playing the leadership role of inspiring the people.
One of the group members, Hajia Aisha Ismail, also known as Aunty Dada, believes that Atiku is the only one among the political class with a patriotic zeal to unite and lead the country. She therefore asked Atiku not to back out at this critical point in our political history, where the APC administration has ruined the socioeconomic fabric of the nation.
Moreover, another group known as the Independent Strategic Team, led by Dr. Fatima Atiku believed that the Waziri is a man of principles who can be relied on to deliver on his campaign promises.
In response, Atiku, who is also the Waziri of Adamawa, thanked the groups for their visit. He stated that he will continue to advocate and fight for the interests of the people as long as he is able. He emphasized the importance of Nigerians uniting to bring an end to the anti-people policies of the APC government. He revealed that many parties have come for mergers, alliances, and coalitions and as a firm believer in the democratic process, these options will be considered for the interest of the nation.
