I’ve always wondered by companies let VCs in after they previously passed. If they didn’t believe in the founders early, they have no right joining later. It’s easy to invest when the numbers look good.
Anthropic’s last round was apparently a bloodbath behind the scenes. A GP at a prominent fund had dinner with Dario three times before their allocation was slashed to zero. At least four other tier-one funds got pulled at the last minute.
Their crime? Passing on the Series B, the hardest round Dario ever had to raise (led by Spark). In venture conviction is all that counts.
A good barometer of where ai is at is to have someone non-technical use it and see how far they're able to get.
I'm having my non-technical marketer use Claude Cowork and the app is so freaking buggy. Like basic Google Drive integration permission requesting doesn't work. Wasted 30m on a call with them and couldn't get it working...
My experience on my first week on 2mg Tirzep at 170 pounds and 11% body fat.
Whoever said 2mg is a low dose needs to be checked. This dose knocked me down hard.
The first few days were perfect as I still loved food just without the cravings. Over the next few days, i couldn’t look at food without being repulsed.
Very minor nausea and light headedness but only if I ate every few hours. If i skipped a meal, it was not fun.
Raises RHR by 7-8bpm (via Whoop). I thought it was only 2-4 at a higher dose and that Reta was the one that increased it a lot… And this is with 200mcg of daily Ipa which is supposed to lower RHR so I can only imagine what it’d be without Ipa. NOT happy about this.
I’m going to skip a week and then half it to 1mg and see what happens.
The X UX is getting so much better. It’s the small things like not pausing a video while you bring up the share sheet and presenting the share sheet again after sharing in case you want to share it again.

I fucking love xcode. Their previews feature allows me to prototype multiple ux directions with AI. Haven’t been able to find an equivalent yet for web dev.
I send 100s of requests to Claude Code every day. Here's what would make me faster. 👇
1⃣ For apps and websites, I already have it click through screens and verify stuff for me but I still need to verify it manually. If it recorded a video that I could watch, that'd be enough for me to sign off.
2⃣ I spend my day walking down a list of tasks. At first I thought I needed an agent that just implemented each in parallel (ideally connected to linear). I no longer want this as three's too many conflicts. What I want instead is an agent (or harness - who tf knows anymore) that audits, researches, and plans a task and repeats it every time there's a change to anything that it would touch. Then, when I'm ready to synchronsly complete the task, it takes me a few minutes max.
3⃣ If i'm not in the middle of an active Claude Code session at all times, i'm not executing efficiently. I need macOS on my iPhone or iPad. I'd carry it around 24/7 and work at the dinner table. This whole Claude dispatch feature doesn't cut it.
