@believingbizarr The podcast brought up during the discussion about the doll found in a body bag is probably "Full Body Chills", the fiction off-shoot of "Crime Junkies". That episode's called "It's Never a Mannequin", I believe.
Eleven years since you crossed the black sands. I wish I could say that the world is better than you left it (although it will always be better for having had you in it) but at least there is a new Young Sam to help carry on the Pratchett name and ethos. Love you always ❤️
@TeeDotally I used to listen to "That Anime Show" when I worked nights as a security guard, especially the Halloween episodes, and that was three jobs ago now.

@RealGreyMage It depends on the game for me; prepping for D&D often feels like a chore, even when I'm running a module. But I really enjoy prepping stuff for Blades in the Dark or Heart: The City Beneath, even if I know half of it going to be thrown out.
@FantasyGrounds2 Once, when I was GMing Cyberpunk Red, I made the mistake of off-handedly mentioning that an open audition for a reality series was happening in the same building the group were meeting an important contact in, and the entire next session was just that.
@JasonBulmahn As a long-time game master, I always read the entire rulebook before I start a new game. My players rarely read more than a few pages, and I don't expect they will at this point. It works out fine most of the time, so I think not knowing the rules works fine.
@BeardedHalfling It's a very high number, because I've been DMing for over 20 years. There's one player who I've had die more than any other though, because he makes bad choices; he went through at least 30 characters in a 3-month long 3.5 game. I believe only 1 other party member died that game.
@addie_plays_ I most often play weirdos who are outsiders in some way compared to the rest of the group. Lately it's also been characters who attempt diplomacy before or during combat (which worked exactly once, with a pig) and like to pretend they're a lot more selfish than they really are.
@SandyPugGames Not a specific item or NPC, no, but I would ask players how they were repairing their stuff in downtime. There's at least one person I regularly play with who would definitely invent some sort of horrible sword-sharpening imp that just followed him around.
