The situation is so bad that if they come tomorrow, and such magnanimity it will be on their part to do so, I feel ill need another AC specialist there just to supervise their brains dead work. But great work on selling those ACs you guys can't install.
@HaierPakistan Just wanted to let you know that I made the mistake of getting one of your ACs. It's been a couple of weeks and your incompetent technicians, who are clearly not accountable to anyone, and have already come twice to 'fix' the issue, have failed to do so 1/2
A year ago, our armed forces displayed unparalleled courage, precision and resolve during #OperationSindoor. They gave a fitting response to those who dared to attack innocent Indians at Pahalgam. The entire nation salutes our forces for their valour.
Operation Sindoor reflected India’s firm response against terrorism and an unwavering commitment to safeguarding national security. It also highlighted the professionalism, preparedness and coordinated strength of our armed forces. At the same time, it showcased the growing jointness among our forces and underlined the strength that India’s quest for self-reliance in the defence sector has brought to our national security.
Today, a year later, we remain as steadfast as ever in our resolve to defeat terrorism and destroy its enabling ecosystem.
Life of the Chief Justice of Pakistan now: a state of denial regarding the authority he lost because of his own conduct. Realisation coming approximately one year late.
The state of the judiciary is alarming. People have no idea what has been done to them. And the people who have done it have no idea about th the extent of the damage they have caused. And the long term repercussions of it.
Karachi's food is okay, but it lacks Lahore's pedigree. With food giants serving same dish over a century, Lahore’s culinary heritage is in a league of its own. It’s the history behind food that makes it so special!!
Two weeks ago, pirates hijacked an oil tanker off Somalia. There are 17 crew members, including 10-11 Pakistanis. Conditions are reportedly deteriorating onboard. Surprised this isn’t getting more international attention, esp w/all the focus on Hormuz & energy security concerns.
@dcislamabad
Why is no media covering about somali pirates hijacking an oil tanker carrying 11 Pakistani members, taking them hostage. 10 days comes to an end but there is no update about them. This incident highlighted the continuing threat of privacy in region.
Very well articulated Moiz. The government is not hiding behind any facade anymore. They have clearly declared that the independence of the judiciary deserves it's rightful place in the graveyard of ideals, and that it where it has now been relegated, at least for now.
When shamelessness has no bounds. Those who midwifed this constitutional crisis should not be surprised by how impotent and ineffective they have become in now belatedly 'resisting' it.
BREAKING: Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Yahya Afridi has turned down request of CJ Islamabad High Court to convene meeting of Judicial Commission of Pakistan to transfer 5 judges of IHC. CJP has issued order in writing. However Secretary can still call mtg if majority of members approve.
CJP writes:
“it must also be borne in mind that permitting such transfers would set an undesirable and potentially far-reaching precedent, effectively normalising the treatment of Judges as administratively interchangeable or disposable. Such an approach would carry serious implications for the institutional integrity of the judiciary, while also eroding public confidence in its independence and stability. More importantly, the proposed transfers, if allowed, would in substance assume a punitive character vis-à-vis the transferred Judges: an outcome that finds no sanction anywhere in the constitutional scheme governing the superior judiciary, is wholly alien to the purpose of Article 200 of the Constitution, and runs contrary to the foundational principles of judicial independence and security of tenure.
For the foregoing reasons, the Requisition for convening a meeting of the Commission for the purpose of transfer of the concerned Judges of the Islamabad High Court, respectfully, cannot be acceded to by the undersigned.”
