Today we heard from residents at ANOTHER mobile home community who are being evicted about a mile from the South Congress Mobile Home Community in D2. The displacement crisis in Austin is deepening and mobile home communities along the Project Connect line are being targeted!

The Congress Mobile Home Park Tenants Association has filed a lawsuit against the property's new owner. This has resulted in a temporary restraining order against their displacement until their case is heard. Read @bastaaustin's press release here:

Residents of the Congress Mobile Home Park will hold a vigil for the loss of their homes and a neighbor who died amidst the upheaval tonight at 7 p.m. at the park. The vigil is open to the public, as residents aim to gain community support.
