Bank staff should receive uniform treatment under the PLI scheme, for true incentive lies in equality and fairness. #5DayWeekandFairPLI#AIBOC@PMOIndia https://t.co/Z9htMkKVz4
India’s Bank employees seek two things rooted in fairness and dignity at work.

The demand for a 5 Day Work Week in banks is not new. It already stands agreed upon in the Bipartite Settlement of March 2024. What remains is its long-pending implementation.
At the same time, the unilateral and discriminatory PLI system must be abolished and replaced with a fair, transparent and inclusive framework for all employees, recognising the collective effort behind every institution’s performance.
Hardworking bank employees are not asking for privilege. They are asking for implementation of an agreement and equality in reward.
A motivated banking workforce strengthens Indian banking and the nation.

Why the rush to sign the wage settlement on 8th March ? We can afford to wait two more months. Settlement must not be finalized without ensuring the implementation of 5 Days banking. Let's avoid unnecessary complications with clauses.

The agri bills are opening doors for the farmers. They're not forcibly pushing farmers through newly opened doors.
1. So called babus will be affected because of loss ‘Mandi Tax’.
2. Middle men will also lose their commissions.
Why shouldn't farmers have freedom of choice?
Increased MSP payments to #farmers are a result of increased MSP & increased govt procurement.
The #MSP payment to farmers in comparison to last 5 years v/s 2009-14 can be observed as follows:

The increased government procurement in comparison to 2009-14 v/s last 5 years can be observed as follows:
Myth: #FarmBills are a conspiracy to phase out the safety net of #MinimumSupportPrice (MSP) to farmers
Reality: Farm Bills are not going to impact #MSP & are creating additional trading opportunities outside the APMC market yards to help farmers land better prices
Myth: #FarmBills are anti-farmer without any protection to them
Reality: The safety net of #MSP will remain. Farm bills will add to the options the farmers have.
Myth: #Farmers will be destroyed by getting them into contracts with big corporate
Reality: #Contractfarming has been implemented for several decades with Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Odisha passing separate Contract Farming Acts. UPA had formulated Model APMC Rules 2007 for promoting it
Myth: The govt wants #farmers to sell their lands to capitalists
Reality: Farmers have been provided adequate protection in the #FarmBills. Sale, lease or mortgage of farmers’ land is totally prohibited & farmers’ land is also protected against any recovery.
