Early medieval chapel built in a gap in the cliffs where Irish Abbot, St Gobhan, was believed to have hidden and been miraculously saved from pirates.

The site (chapel and well) layer became renowned for miracles such curing eye-disease.

Was glad of the invitation today to join in with a group on the inaugural walk along the way of St Aidan and St David. This new pilgrim path links Wexford with Pembrokeshire in Wales. Today’s walk was from Oilgate to lovely Forth Mountain. ⁦@visitwexford⁩
